1.Who we are

Socio Virtual is a product operated by Saucotec Soluciones ("Socio Virtual", "we", "us"), based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you interact with our platforms, messaging integrations (WhatsApp Business, Instagram) and services.

2.Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

Name, phone number, email and company when you book a call or become a customer.
Content of messages you send to our WhatsApp Business or Instagram Business accounts.
Business information needed to operate (e.g. inquiries, orders, billing).

2.2 Information from Meta integrations

WhatsApp Business Platform: phone number, profile name, message content, timestamps, template metadata and delivery events.
Instagram Business: Business account ID and username, DM messages sent to the profile, and public profile metadata of the sender.
Meta public profile: public profile name and picture when used to authenticate or personalize.

2.3 Technical information

Usage logs, IP address, user agent, cookies and measurement pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) on our websites.

3.How we use this information

Operate conversations you start with a business that uses Socio Virtual (e.g. answer questions, quote, schedule).
Provide support and manage the commercial relationship.
Improve the product through aggregated and anonymized metrics that cannot be used to re-identify users.
Our own marketing and advertising, exclusively with aggregated, de-identified or anonymized data, per Meta Allowed Usage.
Meet legal obligations and protect rights.

We do not use personal data obtained via Meta APIs to train general-purpose AI models, and we do not sell it to third parties.

4.Legal basis

Consent: when you start the conversation with a WhatsApp/Instagram account operated by Socio Virtual, or accept terms on a form.
Contract performance: to deliver the service you contracted with us or with the business operating through us.
Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, product improvement via aggregated data.
Legal obligation: when applicable law requires it.

5.Who we share information with

Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp and Instagram operator): messaging flows through their infrastructure under their own terms.
Infrastructure providers: AWS, Anthropic, OpenAI, Cloudflare and similar, under data processing agreements.
Socio Virtual B2B customers: the business you are interacting with sees the content of the messages you send them.
Authorities: when a court order or legitimate legal request requires it.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share message content with third parties outside the cases listed.

6.Retention

WhatsApp and Instagram messages: up to 24 months in operational storage, unless a legal obligation requires longer.
Account and billing data: for the duration of the contract + applicable legal limitation period.
Technical logs: 90 days.

7.Your rights

You have the right to: access, rectify, delete, port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

How to request data deletion

Write to [email protected] from the associated email or specifying the WhatsApp number / Instagram username concerned. We process requests within 30 days.

You can also send a WhatsApp message with the word STOP to the business number that contacted you, and we propagate the opt-out across the system.

8.Security

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), role-based access, access auditing, per-tenant segregation. No system is perfectly secure: in the event of an incident affecting your data, we will notify you within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9.International transfers

Part of our infrastructure runs in the United States (AWS, Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI). We adopt standard contractual safeguards for these transfers.

10.Minors

The service is intended for adults in a B2B context. We do not deliberately request or process data from users under 16. If you spot such a case, write to us and we will delete it.

11.Cookies and pixels

On our websites we use functional cookies and, on some pages, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness. You can block them from your browser without affecting core functionality.

12.Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we update the "effective" date and keep prior versions. For substantial changes we notify through active channels.
